Am 27. August um 19 Uhr wird im Garten Francesco Cavalieres „Imitatori del Tempo (il tempo sussurrato)“ erklingen. Der italienische Komponist und Sound-Künstler zeigt eine Klang-Performance mit Klavier und mit drei vom Künstler selbst angefertigten Hörnern aus Glas. Sein Sound basiert auf Aufnahmen von Wetterimitationen aus seinem Projekt, “The Weather Imitators, Il Coro delle Intemperie”, das er seit zwei Jahren in verschiedenen Ländern verfolgt.

Dafür kreiert Francesco Cavaliere an den Orten, an denen er sich befindet, basierend auf meteorologischen Daten eigene graphische Notationen, die er dann durch Chorgruppen vertonen und aufnehmen lässt: Ein Singen und Flüstern, Pusten und Pfeifen imitiert die endemische Wetterlage des jeweiligen Ortes. Mit seinem Projekt will der Künstler eine Anthropologie spezifischer Wetterklänge schaffen.

Am 27. August verwandelt Francesco Cavaliere sein Archiv der Wetterklänge durch das Klavierspiel zu einer neuen Wettermusik, die durch drei vom Künstler speziell angefertigte Hörner aus Glass an verschiedenen Stellen des Dritten Landes zu hören sein wird.

Im Anschluss an die Performance findet im Künstlergarten ein Künstlergespräch (in englischer und koreanischer Sprache) mit Francesco Cavaliere, Seok Hyun Han und Seung Hwoe Kim über "die Utopien im Garten" statt. 

Francesco Cavaliere (* 1980 in Piombino, Italien) verbindet in seinen Arbeiten Klänge, Klänge, Materialien und Raum miteinander und lädt die Zuhörer in eine imaginative Landschaft ein. Er lebt und arbeitet in Siena und Berlin.

Francesco Cavaliere's "Imitatori del Tempo (il tempo sussurrato)" will be heard in the garden on August 27  at 7 pm. The Italian composer and sound artist presents a sound performance with piano and three glass horns made by the artist himself. His sound is based on recordings of weather imitations from his project, "The Weather Imitators, Il Coro delle Intemperie", which he pursues for two years in various countries.

Francesco Cavaliere creates his own graphic notations based on meteorological data in the places where he is, which he then has set to music and recorded by choir groups: Singing and whispering, blowing and whistling imitate the endemic weather condition of the particular places. With his project, the artist wants to create an anthropology of specific weather sounds.

On August 27, Francesco Cavaliere transforms his archive of weather sounds into a new weather music by playing the piano. Three glass horns specially made by the artist can be heard in different parts of the "Dritten Land". 
Following the performance, an artist talk will take place in the garden with Francesco Cavaliere, Seok Hyun Han and Seung Hwoe Kim (in English and Korean). 

Francesco Cavaliere (b. 1980 Piombino, Italy) is known for the sensitivity with which he combines sounds, materials and space. His works are capable of enlivening his listeners’ inner states in an imaginative journey populated by ephemeral presences, phenomena generated by glass, minerals and story telling. He lives and works bteween Siena and Berlin.
